I am unable to count how many times I have visited this restaurant. This place serves up the best chilli crab in Singapore in my opinion. And I have tried many other places but all fall short in comparison. You have 2 options for seating: indoors and outdoors. I would recommend the outdoor sitting if you are coming here for dinner. The atmosphere is just lovely when you dine alfresco. Usual orders and must try at this place is of course their chilli crab. It always pleases, the crab meat is tasty and there are lots of them. The sauce! You can really drink it up. Our other must order is the silver hor fun which we will order without fail. Once again this place does it better than others. This comes with 2 styles of cooking the horfun, fried and deep fried. So delicious. Over time we have tried other dishes which are all very good. I don’t think I have tried anything less than great in this place. Tonight, in addition to the usual, we also ordered their lobster with egg floss. This was sooooo good. The lobster meat was cut up and deep fried and coated with deep friend egg. Try if you can. We also had the spinach with 3 eggs. And another of their specials. Desserts are another that is worth trying especially their coconut pudding. In fact, try and order the coconut pudding first up when you are placing your initial orders as they are know to run out. The servers here are happy to divide the dishes up for you if you ask. Just be aware that they may try and recommend really expensive seafood so know what you want. Highly recommended.

This place may have the best Chilli crab I’ve tried in Singapore. The sauce was so awesome, not too rich and full of flavour. The crab itself was perfectly prepared. Fluffy and light mantou buns. The fried rice was also great, as were the cereal prawns and the chicken satay. And location right on the river cannot be beat! Highly recommend!

One of the best chilli crab around Hawker centre area. The crab was relatively big on sauce were very generous. I also ordered the creamy chicken and rice (forgot the name) which was also very good. This is one of the best stall in a hawker, but again for a first-timer that doesn't know how expensive a seafood is, this is not very cheap, so make sure you bring some cash.

The chilli crab might just be the best I've had in Singapore. The rich, thick sauce is perfect balance coating every succulent piece of crab meat. The fried mantou is the best pair to soak up every last drop of that heavenly sauce. And don't even get me started on the moonlight horfun! Jumbo is still by far the best seafood place to go to! Ambience is great, especially the one at east coast by the sea. Food is excellent! The chilli crabs are the best I've eaten and the lobster cooked in superior broth is so yummy! So much so that we all dug in and forgotten about taking photos! Service staff are very polite and attentive. Overall a terrific time at Jumbo!
